The time has finally come to wind down the 6 year ride that has been such an amazing experience for all of us involved. With so many memories of great times, great people and great music, it's definitely an emotional week. I'm going to miss seeing all of you each month at King King which after so much time really feels like a second home. The times spent there are a blur of experience to me with one night blending in to the other. Some I remember more clearly... some, admittedly, are blurrier than others (thanks Haley). We had our good nights and slow nights as promoters and our good sets and not-so-good sets as DJs. But I hope in the end that we delivered on our intention of bringing quality sound, atmosphere and talent to LA. I think we did. Finally, I'd just like to extend my truly heartelt thanks to all of you who made Basic what it was. For me, this has been an unforgettable, life changing experience. And there aren't any more words I can utilize to express how lovely and interesting you've made the last 6 years... and how lucky I feel to have been a part of it all. - Justin Gourley
